Assembly and Finishing for Custom Plastics

Ensuring precision, efficiency, and high-quality assembly and finishing for custom plastic parts. Durability, accuracy, and consistency you can trust.

Thermoforming, injection molding assembly and finish

At Advanced Plastiform, Inc., our number one priority is providing our customers with the best possible service. From designing and producing high-quality, durable plastics that are accurate to your needs to providing low per-unit pricing and fast lead times, we do everything possible to ensure a good experience.

Because many of the plastic parts and components we create are used in additional manufacturing operations, we also provide assembly and finishing as part of our unparalleled value-added services. This allows our customers to streamline their supply chain operations by receiving parts and components that are ready to be included into their manufacturing process.

Finalizing Thermoforming and Injection Molding

After the plastic is molded and shaped using either thermoforming or injection molding, we use 5-Axis CNC Robotic trimming equipment to quickly cut precise shapes, add holes, or trim excess material. Once the plastic piece is complete, we offer customization features that include painting, silk-screening, and adding protective coating, such as anti-static used in medical equipment and electronics, or UV protection used in outdoor furnishings.

Strategic Partnering to Save You Time

We know that many of the plastics we create are paired with metal and other materials in the manufacturing process. To save you time, we work closely with companies who fabricate metal parts. Once they are complete, we join the plastic and metal pieces together as needed in your design, and we are then able to ship you a finished component that is ready to be installed.

Value Added Assembly for Custom Plastics

In the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) stage, we can put together a strategy that incorporates all the components you want added so we can deliver your completed order assembled and complete. Whether you are having multiple different designs manufactured or you want to add mounting hardware, join several thermoformed, injection molded, or other fabricated parts together, or integrate an injection molded piece to a thermoformed piece, we can assemble your custom plastics and other materials together.

An Assembly Case Study

We are proud to work with a specific customer to provide consistent, complex assembly that is over 99 percent on time. This is a weekly order consisting of 60 products and 100 components, including various plastic molded parts, screws, plates, and adhesives, is all used to put together the final products. Each week, we receive weekly order plans from the customer, assemble according to the plan, and consolidate into a single weekly delivery to their manufacturing line. All 60 completed products are ready for installation, saving our customer multiple manufacturing steps and simplifying their supply chain dramatically.

Kitting Custom Plastics for Convenience

While some customers prefer our team put parts and components together for them, some customers want to create packages where parts are together but not joined. That’s why we provide kitting services. Our customers who prefer this service build out service parts packages and accessory packages which aid in the installation of after-market dealership service departments.
